One of the Group’s four Colleague Networks is Sustainability. The purpose of Colleague Networks is to help build relationships, provide education and awareness, create development opportunities and raise awareness of issues, challenges and initiatives.
The Sustainability Colleague Network looks at ways to reduce emission and waste across the group, supporting better use of technology with more efficient and sustainable ways of working”.
- Community – define and promote the Group’s charity commitments and review community policies
- Diversity and Inclusion – raise awareness of our industries to early careers populations and promote our D&I activities to colleagues
- Sustainability – reduce emission and print levels to support better use of technology and efficient ways of working
- People Engagement – be change agents and champion and embed key initiatives
Supporting our Communities
Our commitment to building and supporting communities extends wider than just our colleagues. We take this beyond the office, and into the communities in which we operate. We understand the role our organisation plays within the wider community, and we take this responsibility seriously.
We provide our clients with advice and transactional support, often in challenging situations, to protect, enhance, and realise the value of their assets, investments and people, throughout the economic cycle. Our advice in trying times helps viable businesses continue to trade profitably, in turn boosting local economies and safeguarding colleagues.
Our nationwide network of offices operates in the heart of their local communities, and as a Group we are committed to providing support through charity work and fundraising endeavours. Different communities will have different needs, and we believe the people best placed to understand where help is required are those who live within these communities. Individual offices, therefore, have the ability to support local charities to ensure these endeavours have the best impact on the community.
Supporting Young People
We continue to develop and enhance relationships with local schools, colleges and universities in order to support young people in establishing a career in professional services by way of apprenticeships, work experience and graduate placement schemes. See our People page for more details on our Early Careers approach.
